Election Information

The Bastrop CAD Board of Directors hires the Chief Appraiser, approves the Bastrop CAD budget, approves contracts, and sets general policies.

The Board of Directors do NOT appraise property, hear protests, or make decisions affecting appraisal records.

The Acknowledgement of Duties Form must be signed in order to file an application for a place on the ballot. Please file this document with the Chief Appraiser at the Appraisal District, mailing address is PO Box 578, Bastrop, TX 78602, physical address is 212 Jackson St, Bastrop, TX or email to resumes@bastropcad.org
