Notice of Appraised Value

Notice of Appraised Value

  • A Notice of Appraised Value is a letter mailed annually by Texas Appraisal Districts, usually in April or May, to give notice to property owners about their proposed values for the current tax year.
  • The Notice of Appraised Value is NOT a tax statement.
  • If you do not agree with the proposed values, you may file a protest. Property owners filing protests must provide evidence supporting their opinion of the market value of the protested property.

You will not receive a Notice of Appraised Value if your appraised value did not increase by more than $1,000 OR if an agent represents you.

To find the current value of your property, use the property search feature of our website. Open the record and scroll down to the Property Roll Value History. Link to SEARCH
